Where is Manali?

The beautiful township is located in the Kullu Valley (interestingly referred to as the ‘Valley of Gods’), in the state of Himachal Pradesh, North India. The glacial waters of River Beas, which flow down the Rohtang Pass, adds to the scenic charm of this place. 

Manali is 550 kms from the capital city, Delhi. The himalayan city is well connected, and is 50 km from the Bhuntar Airport, where buses and cabs are readily available.

Built by Maharaja Bahadur Singh in 1553, the ancient shrine is dedicated to Hidimba devi, wife of Bheema. Besides the unique architecture and incredible history of the temple, the location of the temple amidst the gorgeous Cedar forests and the breathtaking view of the snow capped mountains will leave you awe-inspired.

2. Jogini Waterfalls

The waterfall is grand, gorgeous and a treat to nature lovers. The place holds spiritual importance and there are many shrines located around the pool at the bottom. The easy and short trek which leads to the waterfall makes this spot a popular picnic spot of Manali.

4. Bhrigu Lake
